Mati Trip Privacy Policy

Mati Trip is operated by MatiWon Technology Pvt Ltd. This policy explains what personal data we handle when you use Mati Trip to book a stay, and how. It works alongside our Terms of Service.
1. What we collect
- Account details: name, email address and mobile number.
- Booking details: guest name(s), stay dates, room and rate plan, guest count, and the traveller contact details you enter at checkout.
- Payment record: the fact and amount of a UPI payment for a booking. We do not collect or store card or bank account numbers.
- Reviews and messages you submit about a stay.
- Basic technical data (device, browser, IP) needed to run the site securely.
2. How we use it
- To create and confirm your bookings and send the booking voucher.
- To share the booking with the Property you booked, so it can prepare for and honour your stay.
- To provide customer support and handle cancellations or refunds.
- To keep Mati Trip secure and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We share your booking data with the Property you book, and with service providers that help us run Mati Trip (such as email delivery). We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of guests, Properties or Mati Trip.
4. Retention
We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and financial record-keeping requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
5. Your rights
Subject to applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to close your account. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
